Happy New Year!

Today was our first day back from Christmas Break! It was so wonderful to see the children and hear about the many exciting things that they did over break! Despite a few tired faces(which I fully expected!), we had a wonderful day! I'm looking forward to the remainder of the school year with the kids and am excited to be part of the learning process! Happy New Year "Awesome Apple" families!

School Surveys

Today I handed out surveys to each family. Please be sure to take a minute to fill them out. Your honest thoughts and feedback about the school and us as teachers is greatly appreciated. Knowing what areas we are strong in and about those areas where we could improve upon are important to us as educators. Surveys are to be filled out anonymously, unless you choose otherwise. There is a drop-box in the front office of the school to put your surveys in, or you may bring them to the classroom and we can put them in the box for you. Thank you!

Snowman Family Project

Thank you so much to all the families who took part in last month's Family Project. The turkey's were just adorable and super creative! This month's "Family Project" is a snowman! Your fabulous creations will be due back to school on January 4th. You may however, turn it in sooner if you wish. I am looking forward to weeing what kinds of snowman everyone creates!

A Change In Position-

I wrote in this month's newsletter that our class would be on the left side of the sanctuary for the Christmas program this Saturday, December 10th. Today was the first day we were able to rehearse with the risers and found that the left side of the sanctuary was not big enough for our class. Because of this, we are now going to be directly in the middle on the altar. See you Saturday!
